I thought I would post some of my bird photographs I have taken during my travels around the world. I am by no means a specialist bird photographer but I love nature and birds. I do not own the ideal bird lens, i.e. a 600mm or even a 400mm telephoto lens. I have a Nikkor 70-200mm ƒ2.8 and a Nikkor 70-300mm ƒ3.5-5.6 for my Nikon D700 and D90 cameras. I have a Nikkor 1.7X tele-convertor which I use with the 70-200mm lens. I also have a Nikon 1 V2 with a 30-110mm lens which is the equivalent to 81-297mm on a 35mm. I also have the adaptor for the V2 which allows me to mount any Nikkor F-mount lens. This makes my Nikkor 70-300mm a 189-810mm ƒ3.5-5.6, 35mm equivalent.
